Experience of Fellowship
My experience of Amal's fellowship was very incredible. Now I feel that everything is possible and easy because I caught up too much positivity through fellowship. Now I am going to discuss this by visualizing my experience.
Feelings about starting the week
When I joined this fellowship I was very passionate and I was also selected after 3rd time. But after the first PW, I felt I can’t do this hard work. However, many times I thought and planned to leave this fellowship. But my inner voice and my soul always inspire me to learn.
Learning of first two weeks
In the starting weeks, I faced many difficulties because I was unaware of Google classroom, Google docs, and many other things. I always picked my laptop and sat at the corner for a whole day to complete PW. The first weeks are really hard work weeks.
When I visualize the experience, then I remember that in the first two weeks, I make my future goals. These goals are very helpful for me to remain consistent for the conversion of these goals into reality. I have started my act for getting these goals into reality.
A funny video on how to become “Most valuable team player” was a very interesting task. I choose the topic “Clarify your Expectation” and make a video on it. I learned how to make videos because it was my first experience and I made the video after 63 retakes. Too much background noises distract me every time. After all, I learned about time management and consistency.
After a lot of effort, I got the most thoughtful project work award in the first week and it was the happiest moment for me. Then I realized that I have some learning skills and for some of the effort I can do everything.
This project work award was really surprising for me because after submission of project work I thought it is not attractive. But my goals were so smooth and the reasons behind each goal were genuine.
In the second week, the concept of “area of improvement” was totally related to improving our goals. I made smart goals and also took action on it. After two weeks I learned a lot of things. By visualizing an experience of amal academy I have realized that there are lots of plans for the future.
Discovery of myself
I discovered myself just because of this fellowship. I was unaware of interview skills, resume making, cover letter or proposal writing, and also many other things. But after spending my three months there, I polished myself and discovered my hidden talents.
My mega project was based on creativity and I also became more creative and productive. I learned how to work in a team and how to become a good and responsible leader.
After all, the time with amal academy is an amazing and wonderful experience for youth to get more information about present life and job opportunities.
