Mega project plans and Execution-Remake The Magic

Amal Academy is a career counselling Academy for youth. One part of this 3-months Counselling is a Megaproject. The megaproject is the main and most powerful part of the Amal Academy. I am going to share some Megaproject plans and the Executions of my circle.

Firstly I want to talk about my group. When the Megaproject was assigned to us then we had about six members. But our 3 members were left due to some personal issues. Now we are 4 members and everyone gave their ideas related to the mega project. But after critical thinking, we have selected two ideas and then again we arrange a meeting and thought critically for the selection of one topic. After the meeting, we have shortlisted just one idea. The idea we were selected is to Remake things.

Purpose and goals

The main purpose for choosing this topic are following

· Reuse material and save money

· Make the environment-friendly things

· Reuse plastic and establish a business with a small startup.

· Make unique, attractive, and less costly things

I was researching the topic and got different ideas for the remake.

Achievement ideas

We make some plans to achieve our goals. Those plans are to collect waste materials from home and put creativity on waste material like plastic, wood, papers, etc. I was researching the topic and got different ideas for the remake.

Action Plans

However, we divided our work into implements. In the first week, we have to research our topic. In the second week, we have to collect material. In the 3rd week we made a Facebook page and then made some materials through our creativity.

Moreover, I made a Photo frame and Emoji props with hard paper and made a Photo frame with cardboard. The main purpose of Remake things is to provide unique and attractive things at a low cost. My next task is to make a Plant pot with a plastic bottle. Moreover, the Facebook page is also ready for online business.

My group’s members made a Facebook page and I made a logo. Moreover, the Facebook page is also ready for online business. Our Facebook page name is “Remake The Ideas”.

Future Aims

As the entire world knows that practice makes perfect, so if I am not very good in creativity then hopefully one day I will be an expert. This is my spirit to do something new. I decided to continue this creative work for the future. I am sure one day these small start-up ideas will be a big entrepreneur mindset.

Teamwork

In teamwork, everybody has different ideas. Every member showed their responsibility without the authority of leadership. It is not easy to work in a group because some members were busy with their business and some members were busy with their studies. I am also facing group issues.

I discovered that most issues of members are with their time. We decided to give the authority of leadership to every member of the group for punctuality and get awareness to use of authority. This is a great step to overcome the burden and stress.

Goals

· Our first goal is to identify the problem and do proper research on it

· Our next step is to solve that problem and make some changes in our society

· Our last step is to evaluate our progress and evaluate what changes we are able to make in our society

What is our project?

We identify pollution became one the biggest problem these days and most of the country working on it but our country doesn’t seem to care about this due to lack of resources and not proper mediums for recycling. Keeping all these things in mind Remake decided to become creative and try to change this problem into an opportunity.

The remake is a service-based startup that provided the services as a product that is used for home decoration. The innovative part of remake services we provide service of home décor that is fully made up of recycled things and full of creativity.

Timeline

We decided to divide our work four parts into four different weeks.

In the first week, we decided to do research to make our project more authentic and error-free.

In the second week, we decided to collect the material that we can reuse for the product.

In the third week, we work on the marketing side. Successfully created a Facebook page to engaged our costumer

For next week we decided to get feedback from our customer and try to improve to them according to our customer satisfaction.

· The start was difficult as we started with 6 members but eventually only 4 of us remained in the end
· We took it as a challenge and decided to go for the project with the 4 of us
· We brainstormed four ideas but eventually settled for one
· We decided to go for REMAKE the MAGIC idea
· We are a home-based start-up as of now
· We use home-plastic waste and craft decorative stuff from it
· Our first product sold within a few days
· We plan to expand our business once the pandemic settles down
· We found our idea feasible in pandemic
· We had our weekly meetings to discuss our progress

· Our goal is to consume home plastic waste and use it for good
· We started off in April and then divided the work for each member on a weekly basis
· I created products, sold one, and also created a Facebook page

· Assisted other members in executing their tasks
· Challenges include: pandemic, few circle members, and load-shedding (especially in my case)
· I tried my best to be practical even in this pandemic and used everything within my vicinity to create products for ReMAKE the MAGIC

Shehroz’s Reviews on Mega Project Plans and Goals

Mega project work is coordinated by fellow sana. He is taking part as the main head of the project.
This project was firstly led by Shehroz Naseer. Now the focal person is Sana. The dedicated work was started by our proposal on the mega project work. In which we focused on the services used for home decoration.
My work consisted of the cardboard box and the decorative pot made of wood. We aimed to provide home decorative services to their but due to lack of corona, this was not possible.

Promotional logos, Facebook page, and marketing through WhatsApp were our main focus. We did our advertisement through different portfolios. This will be presented to Madam Fatima Tariq as a focal person and head of the project.
